Students' area
“on the job” development opportunities

Each year, Edison helps young technical school graduates,
college graduates and seniors enter different professional areas
through an established network of contacts with technical high
schools, universities and specialization schools.
Edison meets and interacts with students at special events, such as
Career Days and company presentations at Italy’s top
universities. At these events, line managers explain to the
students how the Company “really operates” and its
business challenges, while human resource specialists answer
questions about specific profiles, the selection process and the
available professional opportunities.
Highly qualifying internships, usually lasting six to ten months,
are the main entry channel for young people.
Internships are “on the job” development opportunities,
during which interns are actively involved in activities and
projects that help them develop professional skills. Edison also
offers students who are nearing completion of their studies support
in pursuing interesting hands-on dissertation projects. Lastly,
Edison is purposefully engaged in providing deserving students with
scholarships to help them with specialization studies, encourage
them to pursue innovative dissertation projects or reward them for
completing projects with a positive corporate or business
impact.
